Need help running KitchenSink

Postby spicer2 » Mon Jul 13 2015 2:38 pm

I have downloaded KitchenSink to a directory. If I execute KitchenSink I get this error:

~/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0$ KitchenSink
KitchenSink: error while loading shared libraries: libCsCore1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

In the past on Unix I have set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to solve this issue but it hasn't changed

:~/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/home/user/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0

~/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0$ ls -al

~/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0$ KitchenSink
KitchenSink: error while loading shared libraries: libCsCore1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

EDIT: I missed that there was a KitchenSink subsection. I saw this in that section but get a similar result:

~/Downloads/KitchenSink-1.0$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./KitchenSink
./KitchenSink: error while loading shared libraries: libCsCore1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Just as a follow up, KitchenSink had a rpath issue on linux platforms. This was resolved in the build system.
