Re: How to translate this .pro file to build with Cs?

Thank you for posting this information about companies making the switch to CMake. The documentation can be a bit vague however the basic functionality is comprehensible. A contributor to CopperSpice wrote our first set of CMake files several years ago and then the team did an overhaul last year. We...

Re: How to translate this .pro file to build with Cs?

The project file I posted above is a library, it build to a dll or .so file. Your example project is a normal executable so it will not help me much there. And I don't know anything about CMake, too. I think it will be a steep learning curve for me. The build file for a library versus an executable...

Re: How to translate this .pro file to build with Cs?

I grabbed an opensource project written in Qt5 and learn to migrate it to Cs. However the document only talk about CMake, but this one is a Qt .pro project file. Now that you have the binaries the next step is to write a small application which can be linked with some of the libraries, ...

Re: Minor packaging enhancement request

unpacked the latest copperspice source and noticed that it unpacks directly into the current directory Originally the source tar and zip files were in a "copperspice" folder since this is what Autotools did by default. In the processing of removing the Autotools build system and using only CMake, t...

Re: Why does copperspice use POSIX threads instead of C++11 and beyond

copperspice makes direct calls to the POSIX pthreads functions Yes, CopperSpice does currently use POSIX pthreads which do work properly. There are more modern ways to implement this functionality, however using POSIX has no barring on the fact that CopperSpice does use modern C+17 and a recent rel...

Re: Support for RHEL?

Centos 8 binaries were added to our CI and support platforms with the CS 1.6.2 release. As per our supported list in the Overview docs, we are indeed using gcc 8.2.1.

Re: Enh Rqst 3.5.1: function signature where argument list is empty

Please provide a working example so we can test DoxyPress and see how the documentation can be improved. Otherwise, we might change the program and believe your concern has been addressed.
