Re: The application failed to start because the platform plugin was not found or did not load.

Are these messages in the console normal? They are normal if you are using a system with certain accessibility features available. We are moving some of these messages behind a CS_SHOW_DEBUG macro setting. If you find some of these too noisy let us know and we can move specific ones. If you are are...

Re: The application failed to start because the platform plugin was not found or did not load.

I added the lib dirs to the path but didn't add those lines to my Cmake file. Based on your question we updated the CopperSpice Overview documentation . Please have a look at the following page for an example: * https://www.copperspice.com/docs/cs_overview/deployment-libraries.html Since you are co...

Re: Signal/slot mechanism

Is CopperSpice stable at this time? We have customers who are are using CopperSpice and we believe it is ready for production use. The CopperSpice team is continuing to improve the libraries which is why we have people working on profiling, networking/crypto changes, and tracking down areas which n...

Re: The application failed to start because the platform plugin was not found or did not load.

The application failed to start because the platform plugin was not found or did not load. Can you let us know what application fails to start? Have you looked in KitchenSink at the src/CMakelists.txt file. Towards the end of this file are two CMake functions we wrote: cs_copy_library() and cs_copy...

It has been our goal from day one to create a set of GUI libraries which embrace C++. Looking at your kitchensink code seems you still use macro bas...

Re: Unexpected dependency on audio library NAS

The the NAS audio library has been a dependency from the beginning however another user mentioned this may no longer be a dependency in CsGui. This is currently under investigation.

Re: Compilation error building codecs

Thanks for your inquiry. The codec issue ( qfontjpcodec.h ) was reported on github in December 2019 and resolved with commit 92bb7dd. We were asked last week if we could move our next CS build release up a bit. We are scheduled to release CopperSpice 1.6.2 by February 15. Sorry for any inconvenience...

Re: Issue with documentation

To help out with any confusion we will update the CS Overview docs to indicate that HelloLunch is not a real project. Thanks for helping us see this would be a good idea.

Keep on letting us know how to improve.

Re: Issue with documentation

You have in red the words CMakeLists.txt and HelloLunch, these are not links These are actually in orange to show emphasis, they are not intended to be links. As you did mention the text for the build files are on this page so this is not an issue. The "Hellolunch" refers to a project but provides ...
