Re: Copper Spice on M1 Mac

It would be nice to see an update on this. I am currently starting a new medical device project. Dev board and carrier will be showing up today or tomorrow. https://www.toradex.com/computer-on-modules/verdin-arm-family We would like to use CopperSpice because the remote team had done some prototypin...

CopperSpice on Arm - again

All, https://forum.copperspice.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1605&p=3769&hilit=arm#p3769 Has anybody made any further progress on getting CopperSpice to build for Arm? More specifically has anyone targeted TorizonCore and the Toradex SOMs but kept quiet about it? A new client had mocked stuff up with Qt o...

All,

https://www.copperspice.com/docs/cs_api/class_qsqlrecord.html#a0e4ba5ca78fe4c38ad902ac8b559b177

Re: PDF library

The author responded. ==== Hello Roland, I would like to use version 3 of LGPL, because older versions have issues, for example, with tivoization. I do not think, that LGPLv3 is very restrictive, it is actually more benevolent than GPL itself. Best regards Jakub Melka ==== Yeah, I never understood t...

QTabWidget documenttion issue

All, The doc is not complete for this as of what is on-line right now so I'm going to say this is an issue, not a bug. If you have setElideMode() set to anything other than Qt::ElideNone, it doesn't matter if you call setUsesScrollButtons( true). I put 20+ files into an editor and never saw the butt...

QList<QString> bug

I had a method that was to build a QList<QString> as its return value. It was just doing a selection from an SQLite table and returning a list of file paths for recent files. Returning an empty list would be perfectly valid because on a first run or history clear there would be no recent files. Tryi...

It would be nice to see this library released under "LGPL 2 or later".
I would consider it, but this line in your reply made everything you said seem invalid.

To me and the wall LGPL 3 is "later" because 3 comes after 2.

PDF library

All, This message popped up on the Qt-interest mailing list. I've not tried the library myself, but with all of the current kerfuffle going on with PDF this was bound to happen. ===== I would like to inform you about my project, PDF4QT. I began this project in year 2018 as my private project, and no...

Documentation bug - QMultiMap

https://www.copperspice.com/docs/cs_api/class_qmultimap.html#ab46fccfa7919676fb902dfed2085858e Introduces C compare which is not part of Qt. Uses it lots of places. QMultiMap (C compare) QMultiMap (const QMultiMap< Key, Val, C > &other) = default QMultiMap (const std::multimap< Key, Val, C > &other)...

Re: QStringParser::toInteger<> bug

If it is a deliberate decision, then this is still a bug. The template code should be trapping char32_t specifically and delivering a meaningful message at compile time instead of letting the compiler generate close to 25 screens of attempts, exceeding scroll back buffers while offering zero informa...
