It would be nice to see this library released under "LGPL 2 or later".
I would consider it, but this line in your reply made everything you said seem invalid.

To me and the wall LGPL 3 is "later" because 3 comes after 2.

PDF library

All, This message popped up on the Qt-interest mailing list. I've not tried the library myself, but with all of the current kerfuffle going on with PDF this was bound to happen. ===== I would like to inform you about my project, PDF4QT. I began this project in year 2018 as my private project, and no...

Re: QStringParser::toInteger<> bug

If it is a deliberate decision, then this is still a bug. The template code should be trapping char32_t specifically and delivering a meaningful message at compile time instead of letting the compiler generate close to 25 screens of attempts, exceeding scroll back buffers while offering zero informa...

Change QLineEdit cursor color

All, According to the doc there is no role for the cursor itself. https://www.copperspice.com/docs/cs_api/class_qpalette.html#ab86302997ff6fe87cb1c974504b27019 There is QPalette::WindowText and QPalette::Text but not one for just the cursor. Many UI designs today utilize a contrasting cursor so it i...

Some annoying compilation issues

Some annoying compile time issues. I am compiling on various Linux platforms. Just passing along because they seem to spit up a lot. Please add to the never ending to-do list. I don't do anything with JavaScript, but that one seems like it could cause all sorts of hardship. ===== /home/roland/Projec...

QTextStream

Given this bug first appeared in Qt 4.5 https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-12055 Did CopperSpice fix it? Hopefully, in their "spare" time, the CopperSpice developers are removing/fixing the "single threadedness" of Qt. Only being able to paint in the main event loop is a severe flaw. The lack of ...
