Re: MSVS 2017, LNK1112 module machine type 'x64' conflic

When the teacher says color inside the lines you color inside the lines That was funny and as others who know me can assure you I have a wicked sense of humor. Glad you guys are safe..... Yep, we are totally fine. To some it may have sounded odd, but our concern was ensuring every computer and the ...

Re: Binary distribution page

Here is some information which may help. debian10-x64.tar.bz2 1) The "64" indicates this build is for 64-bit. setup-CopperSpice-1.6.0-x32.exe 2) To the right of this file name it says "Binary Installer Windows 32 bit" so you know this is for Windows and is 32-bit. This is the onl...

Re: MSVS 2017, LNK1112 module machine type 'x64' conflic

Quick note, our office is located in Northern California and we are currently experiencing wild fires and forced power outages. It is expected our entire area will lose power due to a planned black out. This is in effect from October 26 through October 28. A bit frustrating however it is a small pri...

Re: MSVS 2017, LNK1112 module machine type 'x64' conflic

...followed the guideline Our published CS Overview documentation for Windows only covers building with MinGW from a a Bash prompt or from MSVC through the IDE. However we have tested in CI to build for 32-bit and 64-bit and there are no current blockers. We currently do not have a prebuilt binary ...

Re: MSVS 2017, LNK1112 module machine type 'x64' conflic

Anybody else trying MSVS 2017 or 2019? Copperspice 1.6 as pulled from github. As I have mentioned, our CI for MSVC CopperSpice builds from master on github with no errors. The CMake files can always be improved but they work so I would not concentrate on this be your issue. It would be better to fo...

Re: HELP: How to get started with CopperSpice?

Who is the resident MSVS guy/gal? There is no one person who supports any particular platform for CopperSpice. We have various people who prefer one over the other so more of their usage and testing is done on that platform. Many people use MSVC and it has been fully supported since August 2018. Ba...

Re: Building on Win 10 MSVS 2017 and CMake

So I just "built" 32 bit debug inside MSVS ... still prelim results, but the are tracking what I was seeing out of a CMake/Ninja build. Ninja just quit sooner. No, these are not the results we have ever seen. If CopperSpice does not pass CI we do release. We are aware of warnings but we h...

Re: Building on Win 10 MSVS 2017 and CMake

I have to admit being tied so tightly to compiler versions scares me. We are not forcing you to use a specific version of MSVC. We do require you use a version which is MSVC 2017 15.8.1 or newer. This was not an arbitrary choice. We worked with the Microsoft compiler team and up until this version ...
