Re: QApplication documentation bug

int flags = ApplicationFlags There is no definition anywhere in the doc for ApplicationFlags. This is all we needed, just let us know what you found unclear or missing. I would ask we refrain from complaining, and lets's stay focused on what you think needs correcting. We are happy to investigate a...

Re: QSettings bug

Please tell us the following information. Sometimes a lot of text or sample code gets in the way of seeing the real issue. 1 What version of CopperSpice are you using. Binaries from the CS forum, clone of github ( approx sha ) 2 I was using class X or method X. 3 I expected Y to happen. 4 Instead Z ...

Re: QApplication documentation bug

This is a break from the Qt 4.8 documentation. There is no link in the CopperSpice definition of that constructor nor is there any definition provided as to the expected content and use of "flags". Type type, Qt::HANDLE visural = 0, Qt::HANDLE colormap = 0, Display *display, but one cannot be sure....

Re: My Struggle with Qwt

We would like to follow up on this issue regarding painting text using a rotation. I understand you are using Qwt however we should ensure text rotation is working properly in CopperSpice. There maybe some interaction between the Qwt and CS which is making the issue harder to find. I tried a simple ...

Re: [BUG ?] Doxypress crash parsing a single header file...

We did a bit more debugging and have found a few more things. ** As we briefly mentioned, your docs are generated if you run from a command prompt. However there are errors in your header file. To view the errors we suggest saving them to a file by changing your project settings. - From Build Settin...

Re: Where's the UI Designer?

Two steps forward, three back? This is not actually a backwards move. We did a bit more research and there are real problems which simply prevent us from distributing an application which is not part of CopperSpice. Installing their program requires registration and this was never something we coul...

Re: Support Qt and CopperSpice

Hello! I have library which has multiple Qt PODs (Q_GADGETs). Is it possible to preserve Qt compatibility? For example, run PepperMill on original files. So, PepperMill will be called instead of MOC. As noted in our CS Overview documentation: The PepperMill utility is a parser and is run one time o...

Re: Where's the UI Designer?

Barbra .... not sure CS wants to be in the business of redistributing Qt Creator. But I do agree CS should make it easy to obtain. Getting it directly from Qt now a days requires "registration"... which just seems to open the door to aggravation. Just trying to maintain social distancing ;) If this...

Re: CopperSpice License Question

1) I do not claim to be an expert. just showing what is working for me - Remember I am an mechanical engineer ... us knuckle draggers bludgeon problems into submission 2) Started a github project separate from any Copperspice project, that way you have plausible deniability. - what is the standard ...

Re: Where's the UI Designer?

Would love to see temporarily a version of Qt Creator we can download from here. In the future, A Creator actually made in CS (with source and binaries alike) would be ideal. This seems doable. I think the best option is to set up a git repo where we can redistribute QtCreator. Since it is LGPL 2.1...
