Re: What is the copperspice business model?
Ok I swear to you that I do not know who "rconde01" is, but I talked this very thing over with my wife for an hour this weekend. What does Copperspice want to be? Let's say that today Copperspice has 50 people using Copperspice as a "business solution" what will Copperspice look ...

Re: Does DoxyPress support FORTRAN?
Super!
Besides the search I listened to a couple of podcasts and I recall the discussion was lex and .... oh you were supposed to use bison too? So you listed a bunch 'o languages for the lex processing but FORTRAN was not one of them.
So after two strike, I asked here.
Thanks again.

Re: Are you aware of the Conan project and Bincrafters?
Your CMake comments are good to hear, are those changes checked into Github? My "preferred" build process is CMake/Ninja so starting with fairly recent updates would be good. I need have MSVS 2015 (MSVC 14) version of CopperSpice because of 3'rd party constraints. Now MSVS 2015 picks up mo...

Are you aware of the Conan project and Bincrafters?
Conan is decentralized, open-source (MIT licensed), C/C++ package manager. (https://conan.io) Bincrafters is a group of OSS developers with a shared interest in making binary software packages. (https://bincrafters.github.io/) This link is a bit dated but a good start. Bincrafters has access to a nu...

Does CopperSpice play well with 3'rd party lib?
Many times, I have found that Qt just wasn’t enough, and I have had to use additional libraries such as: Name License URL Short Description Qwt LGPL 2.1 + addendum https://qwt.sourceforge.io Qt Widgets for Technical Applications (plotting) Qtcsv MIT https://github.com/iamantony/qtcsv Reading and wri...

Re: LGPL and “Trade Secrets”
Thanks for the very prompt replies. For the most part you have reaffirmed my beliefs. I think more than the strict legal interpretation, I was also looking for belief system alignment. By that I mean what you do may be legal but is it “moral and ethical”. I cannot always speak for my employer’s beha...

LGPL and “Trade Secrets”
This is one of those questions everybody hates but here goes. Let’s assume I work for an employer that creates applications for use within their company. Access to the application is restricted to employees or people under a non-disclosure agreement, so to use a legal term … I believe it is consider...
